Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yens Uytebroeck got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Robbe Van Der Taelen got control of the ball when Fabrice Heirremans tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Ouagadougou National fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when FC Ouagadougou National's Chris-George Elssen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20th minute Chris-George Elssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince De Wortelaers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koen Van Hecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vince De Wortelaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Teo Van De Wiele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbe Van Der Taelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Brakkies New Bastards got a freekick which was hit by Brian Van Den Brande. Brakkies New Bastards's Vince De Wortelaers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris-George Elssen in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Ben Jaddon got a free kick in the 31st minute. Teo Van De Wiele's late challenge caught a FC Ouagadougou National's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Van De Wiele helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Brakkies New Bastards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Van De Wiele to maneuver through the defense. Anthony De Mijer hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, FC Ouagadougou National's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joppe De Maerschalckx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris-George Elssen to strike the kick off in the second half. Vince De Wortelaers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Geeraerts in the 53rd minute of the match. Robbe Van Der Taelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yens Uytebroeck in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Henri Sanders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cederic Borginions, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris-George Elssen in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vince De Wortelaers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robbe Van Der Taelen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yens Uytebroeck's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Brakkies New Bastards's Vince De Wortelaers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Brakkies New Bastards from getting a goal against them. If Fabrice Heirremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Yens Uytebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbe Van Der Taelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrice Heirremans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbe Van Der Taelen having to interfere. Robbe Van Der Taelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Van De Wiele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brakkies New Bastards's Vince De Wortelaers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Brakkies New Bastards from getting a goal against them. After having played for 94 minutes, Ferdinand Geeraerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Geeraerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
