In the 22nd minute of the match Bennis got a corner. Fusk&Bygg AB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elof Söderström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sverker Hallgren tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eskil Kullander. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Fusk&Bygg AB's Christoffer Ek was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Elof Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Kullander was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute of the match Bennis got a corner. Fusk&Bygg AB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The crowd rose to their feet as Fusk&Bygg AB's Inge Forsell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rickard Lilja. That made the score 3-2 after 42 minutes of play. Torbjörn Alrot scored 3-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Kullander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elof Söderström was the one to do the kick off. Eskil Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Bennis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fusk&Bygg AB the free kick. Eskil Kullander stood somewhat misplaced when Elof Söderström came free in front of goal and shot 4-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Filiph Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sven-Arne Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bennis's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Eklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
