When Freddie Apelkvist fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bergandy's protests and gave Freddie Apelkvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Skyborn FC booed when Bergandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Skyborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Bergendahl. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Hasselqvist in the 31st minute of play forced Skyborn FC's goalkeeper Sören Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Skyborn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Hasselqvist came free, but Sören Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bergandy's Eddie Magnusson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skyborn FC's Sören Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Asserlind in the 40th minute of play. Sören Zachrisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Asserlind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Per-Arne Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Eddie Magnusson took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sören Zachrisson to make any attempt to save it. Marc Asserlind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Zachrisson having to interfere. When Erik Bergendahl came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Skyborn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Bergendahl couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Bergandy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skyborn FC.
