The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Ahlberg made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Lennart Lundhberg sent off a good shot on target. After 17 played minutes Lennart Lundhberg rounded Blackjacks's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. John Granqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Ahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Granqvist in the 22nd minute. Christer Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Granqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Lundhberg in the 44th minute of play forced Blackjacks's goalkeeper Christer Ahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Lundhberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Blackjacks's Christer Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Lundhberg in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Lennart Lundhberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Christer Ahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Granqvist in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Lennart Lundhberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Ahlberg. Blackjacks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Lundhberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Allbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvin Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Blackjacks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Pauliström. Tomas Lagerberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christer Ahlberg. 5-0. 79 minutes into the game, Ingvar Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackjacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pauliström the free kick. In the 86th minute, Åke Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Granqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Lundhberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Vollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Christer Ahlberg came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Pauliström's Benjamin Löfgren. But to his dismay, Benjamin Löfgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Pauliström walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
