Mats Pettersson took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Källberg. Fredric Källberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, Mats Pettersson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Strömnäs BK's Fredric Källberg. Fredric Källberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredric Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Arvidsson in the 14th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Egil Bryngelsson in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SoS FC's Christian Gregersson. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömnäs BK's goalkeeper Fredric Källberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Pettersson in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Källberg saved Strömnäs BK from getting behind. Fredric Källberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Pettersson went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Kjell Arvidsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fredric Källberg was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Strömnäs BK's Tony Rudkvist suffered a sore thigh after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kjell Arvidsson's late challenge caught a Strömnäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Arvidsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes SoS FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Arvidsson. In the 55th match minute, Strömnäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. SoS FC's Christian Gregersson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Egil Bryngelsson in the 59 minute of the game.
