The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Botvidsson got free with Sven-Olof Gudmundsson in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Flink to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Hammarbäck in the 21st minute of play. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Olof Gudmundsson should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Botvidsson came free, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Flink kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Björn Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasmus Botvidsson in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Marc Lindgren got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rasmus Botvidsson took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Marc Lindgren got a free kick in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Björn Hammarbäck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Bloodthirsty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Björn Hammarbäck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hammarbäck in the 63rd minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Brander in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Qvalfeldt saved Cheetah Team from getting behind. After 70 minutes of play, Cheetah Team's Björn Hammarbäck made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hammarbäck in the 82nd minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Botvidsson took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Hammarbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Björn Hammarbäck made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Bloodthirsty FC's Sten Hernström was substituted for Gösta Pihlblad. There was no doubt that Cheetah Team were the better team. Cheetah Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
