Tim Schaffer kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby Sherwood to maneuver through the defense. Vern McAllister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitch Rushing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vern McAllister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Rushing, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Inmortales FC's Mitch Rushing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vern McAllister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the American Airlines defense, Tim Schaffer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern McAllister. The American Airlines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern McAllister should have stopped the shot. Inmortales FC's Edward Olsen has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 17th minute. Vern McAllister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Cage in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Frye in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vern McAllister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Wesley Cage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Leonardo Ogden recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristopher Herndon. Leonardo Ogden showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. American Airlines's Vern McAllister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Rushing in the 30th minute of play. Leonardo Ogden came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristopher Herndon could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute, American Airlines's Colby Sherwood ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristopher Herndon. Cristopher Herndon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 46th minute Mitch Rushing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vern McAllister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitch Rushing made a kick off. Mitch Rushing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vern McAllister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vern McAllister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Cage in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Ogden in the 55th minute of play forced Inmortales FC's goalkeeper Cristopher Herndon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Rushing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Vern McAllister made a huge save. In the 59th minute of the match Inmortales FC got a corner. American Airlines's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tim Schaffer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Mitch Rushing could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Vern McAllister however easily saved by the left post. After 65 minutes, Asher Andersen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Airlines and the Inmortales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Asher Andersen. Mitch Rushing kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cristopher Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Ogden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inmortales FC's Edward Olsen got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to American Airlines getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Leonardo Ogden hit a great ball. Stanton Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Leonardo Ogden notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Inmortales FC's Cristopher Herndon. Cristopher Herndon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
