Khachatryan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. Jasper Small kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Wilbur Farrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Small, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With his leg Serge Koryan managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when New England Minas's Bradley Burks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bradley Burks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serge Koryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Strickland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serge Koryan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Parker Nance. Wilfredo Middleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Yurin in the 41st minute of play. Serge Koryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Middleton in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terrance Norris to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Parker Nance sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serge Koryan skillfully saved the ball. Jed Strickland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilbur Farrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Jed Strickland slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Domenico Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Jed Strickland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jasper Small recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sem Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Otis Coppack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilbur Farrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Olin Aranda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Burks came free, but Serge Koryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Koryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Burks in the 90th minute of play. When Maria Ricota fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Minas's protests and gave Maria Ricota a yellow card for diving instead. Khachatryan made a substitution. Del Cleveland replaced Jasper Small. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Wilbur Farrell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Khachatryan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
