The tension between the Cosmos Soccer Club and the Recolta Alamor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Rudolph Saunders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute of the match Lucas Vargas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruce Nesbitt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Monte Leary hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tyson Helton came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Wilford Shipp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Arellano. Recolta Alamor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilford Shipp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Ivey during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Ivey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Recolta Alamor's Tyson Helton made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruce Nesbitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyson Helton in the 47th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Bruce Nesbitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilford Shipp made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Jaramillo came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Simmons in the 56th managed to get into a good position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilbert Velasco in the 93rd minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Bruce Nesbitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruce Nesbitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyson Helton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
