The audience was convinced that Rogério Quinaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Ribas was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Espírito Santo in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Espírito Santo in the 7th minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Gil Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Futebol Espinhel defense, Adolfo Carvalheira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Ribas. The Futebol Espinhel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Ribas should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Ramires got free with Horácio Caiado in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Adolfo Carvalheira got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th match minute, Ɍυƒυs™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Soveral to maneuver through the defense. Severino Ramires charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Ramires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 0-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Rogério Quinaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Quinaz in the 32nd minute of play forced Futebol Espinhel's goalkeeper Gil Ribas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Rogério Quinaz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Ribas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Rogério Quinaz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Aldaír Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futebol Espinhel's protests and gave Aldaír Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Carreira in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Carreira in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Ribas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gil Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Espírito Santo in the 46th minute of the match. Gil Ribas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Carreira's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Futebol Espinhel players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ɍυƒυs™ were winning 0-4.

52 minutes into the match, Adolfo Carvalheira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Ribas. Futebol Espinhel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Carvalheira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 55 minutes into the match, Raul Espírito Santo notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas. Gil Ribas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Virgílio Palhares fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ɍυƒυs™'s protests and gave Virgílio Palhares a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Palhares kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ɍυƒυs™ defense, Aldaír Lobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Caiado. The Ɍυƒυs™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Caiado should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-8 when Raul Espírito Santo sped through Futebol Espinhel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gil Ribas. When Luís Carreira came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ɍυƒυs™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Carreira couldn't finish the play. Futebol Espinhel's Gil Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Carvalheira in the 76th minute of play. Luís Carreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Ribas came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Carreira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 78th minute. Gil Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesualdo Castelo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Ɍυƒυs™'s Luís Carreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11. Gil Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Carvalheira in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Jesualdo Castelo Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
