Mário Ferraz scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Bacelar came free, but Inácio Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Paulo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Madruga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Inácio Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Varanda in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Atlético Micaelense got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Mourão. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético Micaelense's goalkeeper José Madruga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Vidal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Varanda in the 29th minute of play forced Sabadim Harammes PRD's goalkeeper Inácio Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Sabadim Harammes PRD's José Madruga threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Quadros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paulo Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but José Madruga made a huge save. In the 41st minute Leandro Marega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Madruga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Sabadim Harammes PRD walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
