The tension between the Oakham and the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Chandra Effendy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerry Chong. Oakham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chandra Effendy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Chandra Effendy came free, but Jerry Chong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Danish Henderson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maruli Mandaga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yusril Baso charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yusril Baso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Yusril Baso got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Otang Haruman came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otang Haruman couldn't finish the play. Jerry Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chandra Effendy in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Oakham booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otang Haruman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Chien-Kwan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maruli Mandaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clive Tan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Maruli Mandaga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Oakham booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otang Haruman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clive Chien-Kwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Tan came free, but Maruli Mandaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ahdiyat Luntungan hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otang Haruman to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Chong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chandra Effendy went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the game, Chandra Effendy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jerry Chong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clive Chien-Kwan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Leysus Latuihamalo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wei Xuan Politiek hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Yusril Baso kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Datuk Barkawi was substituted for Ahdiyat Luntungan. In the 73rd minute, Yusril Baso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chandra Effendy in the 75th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Jerry Chong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Datuk Barkawi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Clive Tan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maruli Mandaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Chong was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Chandra Effendy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chandra Effendy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 95th minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Apep Rachdyatmaka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerry Chong. Jerry Chong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
