Kim-André Storli struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Endre Haddeland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kjønstad BF. Endre Haddeland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Eggum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eilert Hove during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, Lost in pace's Kjetil-André Sundgot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Daleng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sture Rui charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sture Rui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sture Rui kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Julian Clausen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kjønstad BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Endre Haddeland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Clausen in the 37th minute of play. If Eilert Hove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 60th minute of the match, Kent Eggum got a very nice opportunity to score, but Endre Haddeland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 minutes, Alf Nygård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lost in pace and the Kjønstad BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Lost in pace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Nygård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Clausen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Endre Haddeland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Eggum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eilert Hove took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Endre Haddeland. Endre Haddeland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Kjønstad BF played a much better game than Lost in pace and deserved their victory. The Lost in pace players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
