Severiano Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Milio. Severiano Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Henric went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 25th match minute, Andino Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Marcelino Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Amboy FC's Uriel Etxekopar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 played minutes Andino Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Elija. A collision led to Andino Sport Club getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Etxekopar to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Andino Sport Club defense, Uriel Etxekopar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Batista. The Andino Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Batista should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Andino Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Etxekopar came free, but Marcelino Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Batista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Marcelino Batista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Cristian Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Amboy FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Andino Sport Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
