After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Cirilo Fernandes got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to A.D Atlético Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raimundo Liher hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Refugio. Jonatan Sazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Rik in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Refugio during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Refugio to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Caricancha got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Rik. Jonatan Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Rik in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell defense, Victorino Rik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Sazon. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Sazon should have stopped the shot. In the 47th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Guillelme to maneuver through the defense.

If Anacleto Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Gomesano in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Milio saved Caricancha from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Caricancha's Aaron Tercero got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Anacleto Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Milio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Anacleto Gomesano in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caricancha's goalie prevented a goal. Rigoberto Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Sazon having to interfere. Caricancha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
