Daniel Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Roja Directa's Efrain Gerazan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Joel Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Taurino in the 40th minute of play. Florencio Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nemesio Shantala made the kick off in the second half. Florencio Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Ulizes's late challenge caught a Roja Directa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Ulizes helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Ulizes. Epifanio Eleder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Daniel Garin made a huge save. Celestino Gonsalve hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Roja Directa's Daniel Garin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Roja Directa from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Eleder kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nemesio Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Daniel Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Taurino in the 76th minute of play forced El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Joel Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nemesio Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Eutropio. When Efrain Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roja Directa's protests and gave Efrain Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. Efrain Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. El Imperio del Cuervo's Nemesio Shantala got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Daniel Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roja Directa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though El Imperio del Cuervo had controlled the match.
