Rondeau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leonel Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hipolito Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Evelio Dominix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Enetz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Leo Cuarto's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Huaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Enetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ceferino Sedeni hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Isaias Rami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Enetz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Huaco's Evelio Dominix. But to his dismay, Evelio Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Dominix to make the kick off. A collision led to Rondeau getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benedicto Laurin hit a great ball. Evelio Dominix might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Enetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Dominix ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 63 minutes, Evelio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Huaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Dominix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Enetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Huaco's Tomás Isusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Lia in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Roberto Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Enetz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Huaco's Evelio Dominix. But to his dismay, Evelio Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Club Atletico Huaco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
