The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidoro Lluis made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Lindo Trollo sent off a good shot on target. When Jesus Fero fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boxitracio FC's protests and gave Jesus Fero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Boxitracio FC's Jesus Fero got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Ubarna came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lindo Trollo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Lluis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romeo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Pueblo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Romeo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boxitracio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 31 minutes of play, Boxitracio FC's Romeo Ubarna made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Lluis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Afonso in the 38th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Romeo Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Daniel Igon made a huge save. Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Gaitano in the 58th minute of play. Romeo Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Igon having to interfere. Sixto Oier charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Oier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Campeones del Mundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Oier to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Boxitracio FC's Romeo Ubarna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. After having played for 80 minutes, Eusebio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeones del Mundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Boxitracio FC's Romeo Ubarna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Igon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Romeo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Eusebio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeones del Mundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lindo Trollo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Isidoro Lluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Boxitracio FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Boxitracio FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
