Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Illan to make the kick off. In the 95th minute, Amancio Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Lucero. The Nahitantino manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Utopía Muerta FC to win.
