Matias Shepherd took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentin Sabin. Pianello del Lario FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Ernesto Dolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Faron. A sloppy throw-in by Filiberto Ihintza in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pianello del Lario FC's Nereo Oliviero. After 18 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Ihintza. 19 minutes into the match, Americo Sotil notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ernesto Dolfo. Ernesto Dolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Sotil in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Dolfo saved ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ from getting behind. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fulgencio Txanton hit a great ball. Valentin Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Blanco in the 31st minute of play. When ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Nicolas Blanco in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pianello del Lario FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Nicolas Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Blanco to make the kick off. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Fulgencio Txanton got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. Pianello del Lario FC's Valentin Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Blanco in the 76th minute of play. Pianello del Lario FC's Nereo Oliviero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filiberto Ihintza, made in the 78th minute of the game. Ernesto Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Matias Shepherd. After having played for 85 minutes, Americo Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pianello del Lario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Sotil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Sotil in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Americo Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Blanco in the 93rd minute of play forced Pianello del Lario FC's goalkeeper Valentin Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Raul Faron came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Pianello del Lario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Faron couldn't finish the play. Americo Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Pianello del Lario FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
