When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Criston made a kick off. When Amancio Criston fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rocky Balboa Team's protests and gave Amancio Criston a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Rocky Balboa Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Criston to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Errapel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Pascual Nofre's late challenge caught a Inter Miami CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Nofre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Pascual Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Arnoldo Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inter Miami CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
