After 6 minutes, Prudencio Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LARRY FC and the Duendes Verdes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LARRY FC's Prudencio Gil got a free kick in the 6th minute. Benigno Errolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Paz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Duendes Verdes's zone, Angel Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Errolan came out of the goal and Angel Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes LARRY FC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Atarrabi. The supporters of LARRY FC booed when Duendes Verdes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Elorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Fidensio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Prejun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, LARRY FC's goalkeeper Romulo Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Theodore. In the 39th minute, Saverio Prejun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Resto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LARRY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duendes Verdes the free kick. In the 58th match minute, LARRY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Resto to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, LARRY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Prejun came free, but Romulo Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LARRY FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Duendes Verdes's much stronger midfield.
