In the 5th minute, Maximo Elorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Damaso Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Aurelio Elivareo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelio Elivareo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Naboonga Wild Katt FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelio Elivareo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Naboonga Wild Katt FC! The goalkeeper, Filiberto Rodas, was totally fooled by Belgrano de Pibasog's Lucas Atarrabi, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 26th minute of the match, Venancio Mergildo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filiberto Rodas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 28 minutes, Amancio Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naboonga Wild Katt FC and the Belgrano de Pibasog players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Naboonga Wild Katt FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Dominguez. Amancio Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alfredo Olave didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naboonga Wild Katt FC. In the 36th minute, Maximo Elorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 38 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Atarrabi. In the 40th minute Alfredo Passerini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Moreno charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Moreno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Belgrano de Pibasog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Moreno to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Abaunza came free, but Alfredo Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Dominguez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Mergildo in the 63rd minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naboonga Wild Katt FC's Filiberto Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Mergildo in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Alfredo Passerini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Rodas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Amancio Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Damaso Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Aballe in the 78th minute of play forced Naboonga Wild Katt FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Mergildo in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Aballe during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteban Aballe hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano de Pibasog had won after a very even match.
