Natalio Burutzagi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Aurelio Claude skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aurelio Claude was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Lucio Maju capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucio Maju really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 9 played minutes Potrerillo Azuleño got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Cordearo. 10 minutes into the match, Potrerillo Azuleño's goalkeeper Aurelio Claude had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Burutzagi. Aldo Ixaka hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Patricio Bortzaioriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC CERBEROS's Victoriano Muc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Maju in the 18th minute of play. Natalio Burutzagi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Claude firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th match minute, AFC CERBEROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Beltxe to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Angel Procopio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in AFC CERBEROS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Potrerillo Azuleño's Aurelio Claude got control of the ball when Natalio Burutzagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelio Claude made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Monte in the 38th minute. Victoriano Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Ixaka in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Bortzaioriz to strike the kick off in the second half. Potrerillo Azuleño's Aurelio Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Burutzagi in the 63rd minute of play. Cornelio Valerio charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Valerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cornelio Valerio hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes AFC CERBEROS got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Burutzagi. 82 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's goalkeeper Victoriano Muc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Cordearo. Victoriano Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Bortzaioriz in the 85th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Enzo Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC CERBEROS and the Potrerillo Azuleño players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Potrerillo Azuleño booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo Azuleño's Patricio Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
