In the 12th minute, Abel Pasqualini had to leave the field with a concussion. Roberto Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pendex's Roberto Abreu got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute, Damian Napier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Pendex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Pirro in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Albano Barto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Enekoitz. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Barto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Julio Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Honorio Arias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guaberto Orlandus. Honorio Arias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Victor Cordeara struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Guaberto Orlandus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Hermoso Beach. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Damian Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Napier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Orlandus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte Hermoso Beach's Albano Cambranes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Orlandus. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Albano Cambranes got a free kick in the 47th minute. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Marco Bixintxo replaced Damian Napier. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Albano Cambranes hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Pirro to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Orlandus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pendex's Guaberto Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Gil in the 63rd minute of play. Guaberto Orlandus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Cordeara's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Guaberto Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Lico in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Victor Cordeara hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Honorio Arias made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Orlandus. Pendex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Albano Barto struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jonatan Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendex.
