Marcial Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Enol in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Amador Maurino got a free kick in the 11th minute. Valentin Piearres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Marcial Goito made a huge save. Marcial Goito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Senio went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Lyons booed when Ernestina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Izel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Bidun, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 27 played minutes Ernestina FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Izel. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Piearres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcial Goito came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyons's Valentin Piearres. But to his dismay, Valentin Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 57th minute, Clodoveo Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Gitano hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Marcial Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 65 minutes on the clock, Anastasio Gitano commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ernestina FC! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Lyons. Emilio Peru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcial Goito. 3-0. 70 minutes in the game, Salvador Natal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teofilo Baladi having to interfere. Damian Quinito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 80th playminute. But to his dismay, Valentin Piearres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Marcial Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Piearres in the 94th minute of play. Amador Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Lyons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
