The crowd rose to their feet as Cremonese's Desiderio Restu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Santxol. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Julio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Nuxila in the 18th minute of the match. Danilo Santxol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Arias in the 43rd minute. Celedonio Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Jeraldo got free with Julio Vasco in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danilo Santxol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Quebrachitos FC booed when Cremonese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Cremonese's Desiderio Restu made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Santxol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danilo Santxol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Melchor Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quebrachitos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cremonese.
