With a little luck, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Bruno Aimar got control of the ball when Niceto Cisco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque James in the 24th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Ciro Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Cabezon's Ciro Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque James in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Celestino Txartiko made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Eskuin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Baldomiro Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Niceto Cisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bruno Aimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque James in the 44th minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Ciro Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Loco Cabezon getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Niceto Cisco hit a great ball. Celestino Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ciro Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Domeka made a kick off. A collision led to ..Villa Rugby Club.. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pastor Salamon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Guido Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loco Cabezon's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Aimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roque James could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ciro Eskuin made a huge save. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
