An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Medina in the 3rd minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Domingo Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, TALLERES DE CBA's Hugo Tavio got control of the ball when Hugo Quilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Isaac Viator got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when TALLERES DE CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Filiberto Garikoitz fired a really elegant long shot, but Hugo Tavio threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Benigno Conrao charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Conrao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Crottos Crotters F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Conrao. In the 16th minute Pablo Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TALLERES DE CBA's Hugo Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Quilo in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TALLERES DE CBA's Cristobal Banegas got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Filiberto Garikoitz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Tavio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Hugo Quilo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Tavio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Quilo sped through TALLERES DE CBA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Tavio. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

During the 53rd minute of the match Benigno Conrao completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benigno Conrao a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th play minute Natalio Medina came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingo Belasko. 1-2. In the 59th minute, Hugo Quilo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Hugo Quilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. TALLERES DE CBA's Denis Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TALLERES DE CBA's Hugo Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Servando in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, TALLERES DE CBA's Pablo Koldobika got a free kick in the 74th minute. Hilario Turi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Baldovino in the 78th minute of play. Hugo Tavio came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Timoteo Baldovino. But to his dismay, Timoteo Baldovino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Hilario Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TALLERES DE CBA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
