The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, one of MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC. Piotr Cebula shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Dobromir Huratiak was a little too slow when Miromir Gabis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, Patryk Kosel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RKS Królewscy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC the free kick. In the 13th match minute, RKS Królewscy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Kosel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Skirzynski in the 15th minute of play forced RKS Królewscy's goalkeeper Edwin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Witomir Zagrodny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKS Królewscy and the MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Zagrodny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Olaf Banan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mieszko Kaczeniak hit a great ball. Dobromir Huratiak came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by RKS Królewscy's Miromir Gabis. But to his dismay, Miromir Gabis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Olaf Banan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincenty Cichowski was the one to do the kick off. Edwin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Skirzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Edwin van der Saar managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's Wincenty Cichowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Olaf Banan came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Banan couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Gabis came free, but Dobromir Huratiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Wincenty Cichowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 85th minute of the match, Filip Kendra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwin van der Saar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Patryk Kosel made a precise shot to the right of Dobromir Huratiak. MERAVIGLIOSI SOSNOWIEC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
