An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Zahemski in the 14th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Olgierd Kisielka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Kisielka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Smolarek in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmund Bugajski who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Czarne Mamby's corner Edmund Bugajski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olgierd Kisielka quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Smolarek came free, but Olgierd Kisielka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Roland Rode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Golota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Czarne Mamby defense, Wincenty Marchlewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkadiusz Golota. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Remigiusz Zywiec fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Piastów Sosnowiec's protests and gave Remigiusz Zywiec a yellow card for diving instead. Bartosz Pietrowiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olgierd Kisielka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wincenty Oryl took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Golota. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukasz Porajewski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Golota saved Czarne Mamby from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Czarne Mamby's Bartosz Pietrowiak got a free kick in the 70th minute. Czarne Mamby's Arkadiusz Golota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Marchlewicz in the 71st minute of play.
