Jedrzej Fleischer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Konrad Cieliczka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Bara in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Krzysztof Sikola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Balkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gilbert Balkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Pleban, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes, Bartosz Laba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1909 Tarnovia and the KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Konrad Cieliczka got control of the ball when Zula Bara tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Barnaba Kalinowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1909 Tarnovia's Gilbert Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Pleban in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Szarmach. In the 48thth minute of the game Krzysztof Sikola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1909 Tarnovia's Gilbert Balkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Konrad Cieliczka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Bara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula Bara took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Cieliczka. Konrad Cieliczka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Gilbert Balkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iwo Barna. Zula Bara scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konrad Cieliczka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilbert Balkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Pleban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Zula Bara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Iwo Barna in the 88th minute really tested Gilbert Balkiewicz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 89th minute, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Zygmunt Mierzejewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilbert Balkiewicz. Gilbert Balkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Konrad Cieliczka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bara, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
