But to his dismay, Javiero Gordo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Abilio Rieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sendoa Urizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alfonso Ugarte's Dubardo Villamor got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sendoa Urizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Carrizo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Hector Carrizo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sendoa Urizar came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by MANIACOS's Hector Carrizo. But to his dismay, Hector Carrizo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alfonso Ugarte's Tebaldo Artolozaga got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abilio Rieta in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, one of Alfonso Ugarte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alfonso Ugarte. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abilio Rieta in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Alfonso Ugarte got a freekick which was hit by Dubardo Villamor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abilio Rieta in the 37th minute of play forced Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Sendoa Urizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Ciaño in the 41st minute of play. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Vaz in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umea Armendariz made a kick off. Dubardo Villamor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sendoa Urizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Carrizo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Abilio Rieta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sendoa Urizar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 65th match minute, Alfonso Ugarte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dubardo Villamor to maneuver through the defense. Sendoa Urizar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jerold Iturcha. Alfonso Ugarte's Sendoa Urizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abilio Rieta in the 71st minute of play. Sendoa Urizar was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Evaristo Vaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Vaz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 78th minute, Abilio Rieta made a precise shot to the right of Sendoa Urizar. Alfonso Ugarte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. 81 minutes into the game, Abilio Rieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANIACOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alfonso Ugarte the free kick. After 81 played minutes MANIACOS got a freekick which was hit by Abilio Rieta. Sendoa Urizar made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Abilio Rieta sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Abilio Rieta took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sendoa Urizar to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over MANIACOS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alfonso Ugarte throughout the match.
