Lia Saez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josias Verdaguer's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Lia Saez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Morata in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los romperredes F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Graciano Teruel was slow to take the kick. During this time UNITED's players had a chance to rest. Alvaro Morata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Lia Saez made a huge save. Piorno Arias's late challenge caught a UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piorno Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Idacio Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los romperredes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Idacio Helguera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Valdes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Casildo Galdamez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Valdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, UNITED's Victor Valdes got control of the ball when Piorno Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line.
