After 2 minutes, Roger Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. and the Puerto de Sagunto CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Roger Ortiz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Etor Camarasa got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Telesforo De Paula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Garaona Camino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Cordaro Rallo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 33 minutes into the game Joachim Zaplana kicked a great long shot which passed Andres Salan straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-1. One couldn't see Joachim Zaplana behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Garaona Camino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Ortiz in the 42nd minute of the match. Cordaro Rallo's late challenge caught a Puerto de Sagunto CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordaro Rallo helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes !Pabellon Ourense C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Cordaro Rallo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cordaro Rallo got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Cordaro Rallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Bela Rojas was substituted for Roger Ortiz. In the 54th match minute, !Pabellon Ourense C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordaro Rallo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s zone, Joachim Zaplana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Salan came out of the goal and Joachim Zaplana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Amer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Manuel Alcantara kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Bermudo Domingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaona Camino having to interfere. Manuel Alcantara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Garaona Camino made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Zahar Ucero got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lino Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garaona Camino having to interfere. Garaona Camino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ginés Figueres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garaona Camino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Amer in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Maximiano Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto de Sagunto CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiano Caballero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Salan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joachim Zaplana kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Heli Sánchez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garaona Camino. Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 94 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Zaplana. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Lino Amer got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
