In the 12th minute, Murillo Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estação F.C's Iuri de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Acácio Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estação F.C and the Bitelon FC - SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Acácio Reis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gil Arce acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Samuca Fantini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Vinhas in the 24th minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Gil Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Souza hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Samuca Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Samuca Fantini suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Acácio Reis got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Estação F.C's Acácio Reis got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gabriel Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Trigo to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gil Arce came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bitelon FC - SAF's Dadá Vinhas. But to his dismay, Dadá Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dadá Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dadá Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Estação F.C were furious when Magno Arósio was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Estação F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bitelon FC - SAF:s goal. Ernani Prestes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Fausto Lopez's late challenge caught a Bitelon FC - SAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Lopez helped the player get up and apologised. 79 minutes into the match, Bitelon FC - SAF's Ernani Prestes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Estação F.C's Gil Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Freitas in the 80th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Estação F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Neves came free, but Gil Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Murillo Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estação F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bitelon FC - SAF.
