Telmo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Calopsita EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Valadares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lauro Sanches showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Fellipe Rodrigues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Guimarães having to make a save. Elivélton Rezende's late challenge caught a Calopsita EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Elivélton Rezende got a free kick in the 18th minute. Telmo Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Túlio Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Moreto F.C. - Capivari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Camargo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Souto in the 24th minute of play forced Moreto F.C. - Capivari's goalkeeper Telmo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Calopsita EC's Inácio Souto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nildo Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dagoberto Valadares. Calopsita EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dagoberto Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro Sanches in the 46th minute. A collision led to Calopsita EC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gilvan Machado hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Lauro Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagoberto Valadares. Calopsita EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Lauro Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Telmo Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Moreto F.C. - Capivari from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Calopsita EC were awarded a corner. Gildo Mineiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Gildo Mineiro made a great header on Calopsita EC's corner, it was just that Moreto F.C. - Capivari's Telmo Guimarães managed to reach the ball for a save. The Calopsita EC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Calopsita EC's Nuno Carioca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lauro Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dagoberto Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Souto struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Telmo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calopsita EC. After a defensive mix-up in Moreto F.C. - Capivari's zone, Inácio Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Telmo Guimarães came out of the goal and Inácio Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Lopez struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Telmo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calopsita EC. After 87 played minutes Calopsita EC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Lopez. Túlio Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Lauro Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moreto F.C. - Capivari walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
