Guarei FC's Dráuzio Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão de Senna in the 16th minute of play. Pedro Rangel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeu Peixoto in the 18th minute. Teodoro França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miguel Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. The Clube Audax Metropolitano players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
