Ben Everett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Ollie Meyers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Nelson Clist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abbotsford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Clist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ben Everett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Bundy in the 27th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlisle Dillon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Everett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Stratton FC's Nash Dollimore got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlisle Dillon came free, but Ben Everett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Alcock to maneuver through the defense. Andre Castner struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ben Everett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abbotsford FC.
