With a little luck, io.dasola's Felice Di Persio got control of the ball when Bianco Masi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edoardo Rago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Bianco Masi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Felice Di Persio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bianco Masi to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Toto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Malatesta having to interfere. When Edmondo Valcareggi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fiume Veneto's protests and gave Edmondo Valcareggi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fiume Veneto fans cheered their team off the field, for while io.dasola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
