With a left leg Arturo Verdone saved Valdieri from getting behind. 42 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Alvise Ciscato came free, but Arturo Verdone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Verdone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Ciscato, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Alvise Ciscato who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Arturo Verdone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valdieri's Arturo Verdone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Ciscato in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Aurelio Di Lullo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Supremacy Catania FC's Frank Zollino. Frank Zollino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvise Ciscato scored 2-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Verdone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Supremacy Catania FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
