Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ciro Sarnelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Niccolai in the 5th minute of play. Ciro Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Niccolai in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Skyfall's goalkeeper Attilio Angelucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Pani. Fabrizio Proia charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Proia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabrizio Proia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Skyfall got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Niccolai. Ciro Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Proia in the 24th minute of play. Ciro Sarnelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eraldo Ragazzoni went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emilio Albanesi hit a great ball. Attilio Angelucci made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Filippo Pani sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Sarnelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Niccolai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fabio Padula hit a great ball. Ciro Sarnelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Niccolai in the 42nd minute of play. Ciro Sarnelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Ragazzoni came free, but Ciro Sarnelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Filippo Pani made the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Niccolai's late challenge caught a Lunatics of Arianrhod's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuele Niccolai helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the match, Filippo Pani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Angelucci. Skyfall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Pani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Attilio Angelucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Albanesi in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Skyfall's Dave Cesarini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Sarnelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Amedeo Baruffa's late challenge caught a Skyfall's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amedeo Baruffa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Amedeo Baruffa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Cesarini was slow to take the kick. During this time Skyfall's players had a chance to rest. Ermanno Ragusa lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 75th match minute, Skyfall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Ragusa to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Aurelio Mariotti led 76 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Skyfall's Attilio Angelucci became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-2. In the 80th minute of the match Aurelio Mariotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Attilio Angelucci skillfully saved the ball. Ciro Sarnelli came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skyfall's Fabrizio Proia. But to his dismay, Fabrizio Proia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. 85 minutes into the match, Filippo Pani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Attilio Angelucci. Skyfall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Pani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. After a rather tough play, Skyfall's Alessandro Di Iorio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans cheered their team off the field, for while Skyfall had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
