Spectators: 842 (Terracing: 632, Seating: 194, VIP seats: 16) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Honorio Tabor kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Pablo FC's zone, Ruben Gaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Bernaldo came out of the goal and Ruben Gaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, San Pablo FC's Faustino Luke got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Honorio Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Hermosillo FC were awarded a corner. Leonides Eyague went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Honorio Tabor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benigno Bernaldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benigno Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Pablo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonides Eyague was slow to take the kick. During this time Hermosillo FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Leonides Eyague got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benigno Bernaldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute, Cristobal Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Fanuco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute, Ruben Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Honorio Tabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Benigno Bernaldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Eugenio Perpinya fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Pablo FC's protests and gave Eugenio Perpinya a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Honorio Tabor sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Tabor in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Epifanio Orti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victoriano Feo made the kick off in the second half. Leonides Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Bernaldo having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amador Eneko sped through San Pablo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benigno Bernaldo. Honorio Tabor took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Bernaldo. Benigno Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Clodoveo Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Cordeiro in the 65th minute of play. Hermosillo FC's Clodoveo Fanuco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo FC from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Leonides Eyague made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Bernaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Leonides Eyague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Bernaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Benigno Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Honorio Tabor. But to his dismay, Honorio Tabor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Benigno Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Orlandus, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Isidoro Gaueko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Pablo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. In the 85th minute, Isidoro Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Errando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benigno Bernaldo. San Pablo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Severiano Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Leonides Eyague was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermosillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Pablo FC the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Hermosillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Eyague to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Hermosillo FC were the better team. Hermosillo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
