The Roneros F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Barja in the 16th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Camilo Renedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Gonzalo Barja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Renedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Renedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asensio Berzosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvis Bajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Roneros F.C.'s Asensio Berzosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Bajo in the 30th minute of play. Geovanny Fuertehijar's late challenge caught a Azul Y Plomo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanny Fuertehijar helped the player get up and apologised. Geovanny Fuertehijar kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Alex Macías, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Colon to make the kick off. Camilo Renedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Gandarias in the 55th minute of the match. Camilo Renedo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gonzalo Barja sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Camilo Renedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Colon. Guillermo Colon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Guillermo Colon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gonzalo Barja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Renedo. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. Roneros F.C.'s Mauricio Ureta was substituted for René Emperanza. Camilo Renedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes of play, Roneros F.C.'s Guillermo Colon made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Renedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asensio Berzosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogerio Arcos went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Gonzalo Barja in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Renedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when Azul Y Plomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarando Sotillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Geovanny Fuertehijar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Renedo skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute, Gonzalo Barja made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Renedo. Azul Y Plomo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
