Fernández Fano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Arichaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernández Fano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Arichaga went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Marcelo Paul got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Venceslao Beite fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Town SC's protests and gave Venceslao Beite a yellow card for diving instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernández Fano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ursino Cervilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguez Encina, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74 minutes, Marcelo Paul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YerBaTerOs and the West Town SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, YerBaTerOs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Paul to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Arramendia charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Arramendia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Edmundo Arichaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YerBaTerOs's Fernández Fano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Erran. For all the effort they put into the match, the YerBaTerOs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for West Town SC.
