If Tamariz Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Torreoncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damián Burgos to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Adalberto Pellegri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abner Dohrmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Poulus Farias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintán Paetz in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Torreoncito's Héctor Maralla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Poulus Farias. Poulus Farias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, RKO AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Montenegro came free, but Poulus Farias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karlos Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Poulus Farias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Noé Avaria hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Romano Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abner Dohrmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abner Dohrmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Pellegri in the 31st minute of the match. RKO AFC's Tamariz Gallardo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Karlos Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poulus Farias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duardo Larraechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Maralla in the 40th minute of play forced RKO AFC's goalkeeper Poulus Farias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Duardo Larraechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poulus Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Torreoncito booed when RKO AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Fanjul didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Guido Ebensperger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the RKO AFC defense, Marín Mason kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Poulus Farias. The RKO AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Poulus Farias should have stopped the shot. Poulus Farias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damián Burgos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Torreoncito's Marín Mason made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Poulus Farias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Poulus Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duardo Larraechea in the 72nd minute of play. Adalberto Pellegri's late challenge caught a Torreoncito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Pellegri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Adalberto Pellegri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marín Mason in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Poulus Farias saved RKO AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, RKO AFC's Guido Ebensperger got a free kick in the 76th minute. Poulus Farias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlos Lizardi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Abner Dohrmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Pellegri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noé Avaria's late challenge caught a RKO AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noé Avaria helped the player get up and apologised. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Torreoncito had played much better football throughout.
