Hipolito Araso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hitz Erus went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Austral FC booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinto Caniego didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pinto Caniego in the 19th minute of play forced Austral FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Araso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lehen Cañal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Austral FC's zone, Theobald Trubica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Araso came out of the goal and Theobald Trubica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lehen Cañal fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austral FC's protests and gave Lehen Cañal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Lehen Cañal got a free kick in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Pasqual Omente took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Quique Sominaya to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute Carqueja were awarded a corner. Theobald Trubica went to the cornerflag to take it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pasqual Omente made the kick off in the second half. Hitz Erus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Oñez. In the 62nd minute, Theobald Trubica sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Austral FC's Hipolito Araso didn't even have to move. If Pinto Caniego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Austral FC's Lehen Cañal got a free kick in the 70th minute. Austral FC's Hipolito Araso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinto Caniego in the 81st minute of play. Quique Sominaya came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Austral FC's Pasqual Omente. But to his dismay, Pasqual Omente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 89 minutes, Paulo Leyva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carqueja and the Austral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Leyva hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Pinto Caniego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hipolito Araso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austral FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
