İskender Ehil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erdoğan Aynacıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. İskender Ehil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆. In the 18th match minute, ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceyhan Rahmet to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Çanakkale booed when ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ferit Varan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Erdoğan Aynacıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Ehil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆'s Zikri Özaydın was substituted for Nurettin Haliloğlu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahdet Mertkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Vahdet Mertkan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahdet Mertkan couldn't finish the play. Mümtaz Kaygun hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆'s Fuat Akbora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Ali Oytunç in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of ☆GERMEÇSPOR☆ booed when Çanakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sami Nahit didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Çanakkale getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tahsin Cesimi hit a great ball. Vahdet Mertkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fuat Akbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Cesimi in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Çanakkale's İskender Ehil got control of the ball when Vahdet Mertkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hasan Emre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Nihat Akarsu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Fuat Akbora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çanakkale.
