Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mazhar Şehzade in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuh Akkuş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vefa Aktaşoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibet Özbilgin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Vefa Aktaşoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Lazutlar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Necdet Veysel came free, but Vefa Aktaşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vefa Aktaşoğlu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzon's Tibet Özbilgin. But to his dismay, Tibet Özbilgin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arda Göksel Kutuner hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Lazutlar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tibet Özbilgin came free, but Vefa Aktaşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vefa Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 19th minute of play. When Ali Nabi Öktem fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzon's protests and gave Ali Nabi Öktem a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Trabzon's Ali Nabi Öktem got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Ahmet Necdet Veysel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa Aktaşoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Lazutlar SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tibet Özbilgin came free, but Vefa Aktaşoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Necdet Veysel in the 27th minute of play forced Lazutlar SK's goalkeeper Vefa Aktaşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Muhammet Onbulak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa Aktaşoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazhar Şehzade couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Ahmet Necdet Veysel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vefa Aktaşoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muhammet Onbulak in the 36th minute of play forced Lazutlar SK's goalkeeper Vefa Aktaşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vefa Aktaşoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tibet Özbilgin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibet Özbilgin couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Necdet Veysel took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vefa Aktaşoğlu. Vefa Aktaşoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Trabzon were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet İlke Talaykan to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Şehzade Akkoç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lazutlar SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzon the free kick. Şehzade Akkoç hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ahmet Necdet Veysel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzon's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Necdet Veysel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vefa Aktaşoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tibet Özbilgin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. Ogün Tecmil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuh Akkuş having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tibet Özbilgin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vefa Aktaşoğlu. That made the score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. Vefa Aktaşoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Veysel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Vefa Aktaşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Korkut Sadak in the 88th minute of play forced Lazutlar SK's goalkeeper Vefa Aktaşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazutlar SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Muhammet Onbulak scored to the left of an out of position Vefa Aktaşoğlu, making the score, 0-5. Ahmet İlke Talaykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vefa Aktaşoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Trabzon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lazutlar SK throughout the match.
