Vefa Koytak hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Feyzullay Kuter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaelmas's supporters rose to their feet, but Feyzullay Kuter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Gaffar Ustaoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Karaelmas's goalkeeper Doğuş Ozaner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamdi Asıf. After the first half Karaelmas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kubilay Polatkan made a kick off. Vefa Koytak's late challenge caught a Karaelmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vefa Koytak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute Baysal Tarancı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş Ozaner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kubilay Polatkan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Arif Gaffar Ustaoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, Karaelmas's Kubilay Polatkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Gaffar Ustaoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 78 minutes, Gafur Hakim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karaelmas and the ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Karaelmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gafur Hakim to maneuver through the defense.
